Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Moiloo Wifi handles personal information when you visit our website, create an account, or use our WiFi captive portal platform.

Last updated: September 1, 2026

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Moiloo Wifi ("Moiloo", "we", "us", or "our") provides a software platform that helps hospitality venues offer branded guest WiFi experiences. This policy applies to moiloo.com, the Moiloo Wifi dashboard, and the services we provide through them.

When a venue uses Moiloo Wifi to collect information from its guests, the venue generally decides why that information is collected and how it is used. In that situation, the venue is the data controller and Moiloo Wifi processes the information on the venue's instructions.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: Name, email address, password credentials, organization details, and other information you provide when you create or manage an account.
  • Guest information: Information a guest voluntarily submits through a venue's portal, such as a name, email address, birthday, or preferences. The venue determines which fields to display.
  • Device and network information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, network details, and approximate location inferred from an IP address.
  • Usage information: Pages viewed, features used, login and session events, portal interactions, and diagnostic information.
  • Communications: Information you provide when you contact support, respond to a survey, or otherwise communicate with us.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Moiloo Wifi services.
  • Create and administer accounts, authenticate users, and provide customer support.
  • Process guest portal sessions and provide the analytics and marketing tools configured by a venue.
  • Send service messages, including account notices, security alerts, billing notices, and support responses.
  • Understand product performance and improve the service using aggregated or de-identified information where possible.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our agreements.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on the following bases: performance of a contract to provide the service you request; legitimate interests to secure and improve our services; consent where we ask for it; and legal obligations where processing is required by law.

A venue is responsible for selecting an appropriate legal basis for guest data it collects, presenting any required notices, and obtaining consent where consent is required.

5. When we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, support, and operate the platform. These providers may process information only to provide services to us and under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

  • With the venue that operates the portal through which guest information was collected.
  • With professional advisers, law enforcement, or government authorities when required or permitted by law.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
  • With other parties when you direct us to do so or otherwise authorize the disclosure.

6. Data retention

We retain account information for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution needs. Guest data is retained according to the venue's configuration and instructions, subject to our legal obligations and backup-cycle requirements.

You may request deletion of personal information by contacting us. A venue may also manage or request deletion of guest data through its account or by contacting us.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, and to receive a portable copy of information you provided. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To make a request, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity and may direct a guest to the venue that collected their information. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

Moiloo Wifi and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where it was collected. Where required, we use an appropriate legal transfer mechanism and safeguards for international transfers.

10. Children

The Moiloo Wifi platform is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. Venue operators are responsible for ensuring that their guest collection practices comply with age-related privacy requirements in their jurisdiction.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
